Interventions

On the recommendation of a Teacher of the Deaf, children may receive on going intervention or a specialised programme delivered by an Advanced ETA from the Hearing Impaired Additionally Resourced Provision. These are specialist interventions and specifically aimed at helping deaf pupils improve:

their attending and listening skills
their language and literacy levels and communication skills
their access to lessons and social experiences.
